Nickel Plating
Because of its corrosion-resistant qualities, its resistance to shock and its machinability, industrial nickel is in demand more than ever before. New quality techniques developed by HPI have made it practical and economical to apply nickel plating in many industrial and chemical processes. HPI is constantly conducting tests for practical applications in the use of industrial nickel plating.
Heat exchangers, steel pipe, food processing equipment, weld fittings and paper rolls are all examples of the different uses of nickel. In addition, soap, caustic, paper pulp, plastics, liquor and chemical industries are finding an increasing number of applications for nickel. We cordially invite you to visit our plant or call on us for a consultation on any of your metal finishing and industrial plating problems.

Tests have shown nickel to be superior to other coatings in preventing corrosion.

Chrome Plating
Chromium is outstanding for industrial plating and, accordingly, is used as a standard when considering other metals for many applications. Hard chromium and industrial nickel are widely used together for resizing worn or over-machined parts. In many instances, a part manufactured or repaired using chromium and nickel has surface properties with better corrosion resistance and superior wear capabilities.
